Village Hall

The village is lucky to have a useful village hall in the High Street.
It was built in the late 1970s and is centrally placed in the village. The pottery freize, shown above, was added in the year 2000 as part of our millennium celebrations.
Besides the main hall, which has a stage with a storeroom behind it, there are cloakrooms and a kitchen. A smaller room, the picturesque thatched Reading Room is also accessed from the entrance lobby. This is used on term-time mornings by the Ewelme Pre-School.
The facilities are available to rent – contact Ann Critchley on 01491 834403 for bookings.
A management committee looks after the village hall.
