Nolay
Ewelme is twinned with Nolay, in Burgundy, France. Situated to the southwest of Dijon and Beaune in the southern part of the Cote d’Or, this attractive little town is important in the wine industry.
“En Bourgogne, on mange souvent et on mange bien” goes the saying in that area and this sums it up very well. With the superb wines produced there, the interesting countryside and the wonderful hospitality we receive, Nolay is an inviting destination.
Exchange visits are arranged on an alternating basis.
Our next trip to Nolay is being planned for 2008 and details will be circulated in due course.
Meanwhile, please see Sue Hill in Derry’s Den in Benson if you are interested.
